Chill Pill & Relax
April 5th 2025
First day on the boat without Greg. Very relaxing with a beautiful breeze, and this will be the first day Brandy has not sweat her balls off.
The crew decides to get off the boat for a bit, so we hop in the dinghy and make our way to land (just the dinghy dock. Ha ha) We get the on-land chores done and Evie takes us to lunch at the Floridian, Evie’s old stomping grounds when she cruised on their boat, the Hakuna Matata. We each ordered a diet coke what turned out to be a gallon of diet coke each. The food was pretty tasty.
We make our way back to the dinghy and approach the boat. Brandy nailed it getting her crew back to the boat safely. A few hours later we notice a boat circling us, Brandy stares them down with curiosity and they finally ask if this is Greg Guster’s boat. Not really sure why they are asking Brandy hesitates to answer, when the woman on board says that they are our insurance agent, and they just wanted to cruise by and say hi and check us out. A Big shout out to Jason King from State Farm!!
While sitting out on the back deck having a glass of wine, we hear a scream and a massive splash. Yikes!! We look over at the Las Olas bridge only to see two kids just having a good time. We are pretty sure it was just for fun or are the people of Las Olas getting tired of the long bridge openings during the Tortuga Music Festival.
The boat moored next to us named the Two Seas looked to be abandoned when we saw the owner show around 1900 hours. We are quite curious, and we will investigate further morning.
