Greg’s Arrival w/ a Side of You Tube

Enjoying the beautiful morning on the AFT deck with Katniss and a cup of joe, Katniss passed on the coffee.

We are preparing for Captain Greg’s arrival home. Greg had a long ass flight across the country overnight from Seattle to Miami. It’s a bittersweet day; Greg returns home while Evie prepares for her departure only to continue on a cruise with some old (Mormon) friends, so Evie will be sneaking her cocktails. Good luck Evie. 🙂

Still no movement on the Two Seas, we will continue to update.

Captain Greg has finally arrived on the Chasing Destiny, exhausted he smiles and says he is going to get some much-needed rest after fighting to stay awake on his flight home (jk he was wide awake on his redeye flight) and to make it back safely to his family that await his return.

Later on, Greg was flagged down by the owner of Two Seas asking for a ride to retrieve his bumper. Greg got to know Walter a little and found out his back story. Walter is a retired Navy Seal, thank you Walter for your service. Greg drops Walter off at the dock and returns Walter’s bumper to his boat.

One funny part of Greg chasing down the neighbors bumper you can see him cruising back and forth in the background of a DJ shooting a video on shore. You can find this on YouTube @stevemilleofficial. You can also see Evie staring over in her bright orange shirt. Absolutely hilarious. I will post the times on the video when you can see them.

We are now preparing for Evie’s departure from the Chasing Destiny and our crossing of 800 feet to land. Evie has one last run with some trash. We sure will miss Garbage Girl. We make it to shore and make the long walk to where she will wait for the Uber. We quickly recap her time with us on the boat, as we laugh, we see her ride pulling up. Big hugs all around and tears in our eyes. Are hearts are heavy, but happy for Evie that she will be embarking on her cruise in search of her long-lost love Aaron, on Green Turtle Cay. Bon Voyage Evie!!

When we arrive back to the boat, we lower Evie’s flag. Until next time ole flag. Greg decides to christen the boat by jumping from the top and blasting into the water. We try and do a little fishing from the back of the boat. Greg dozing on the front deck, so I take the small catfish we caught and gave him little fish slap to wake him. We return the fish back to the water and he takes off.

We turn in for the night, Greg and Katniss are out cold right away. As usual Brandy cannot sleep so she goes up to the front deck watching the lights from the last night of the Tortuga Music Festival. As the boat swings on her golden mooring ball, you can hear Luke Combs singing Fast Car in the distance. We are living that good life. Thank you, Greg, for such a magical life.
