“A bittersweet air hung over the Chasing Destiny as the crew prepped for Captain Greg’s temporary departure. ✈️ The remaining shipmates, Brandy and Katniss, already felt a Greg-shaped void. 🙁

As the self-proclaimed Captain Katniss (a title often asserted through demanding stares and strategic toy placement) strutted around the deck, Brandy couldn’t help but suspect a classic case of ‘little dog syndrome.’ To determine the interim captain, a solemn ritual commenced: rock, paper, scissors. Despite Katniss’s unwavering paper strategy, Brandy stubbornly threw rock each round. ‘Someday,’ she muttered to herself, ‘someday, paper will be my downfall no more.’

Facing the 800-foot crossing to the dock – battling imaginary winds and monstrous (okay, barely there) waves – the brave crew managed to deliver Captain Greg with his uniform miraculously dry. Goodbyes were exchanged, and then the two remaining adventurers set off on their neighborhood expedition. A silent question hung in the humid air: how many land-dwelling folks knew they hailed from the Chasing Destiny? 🥸 They couldn’t help but wonder if their more… private boat moments had been inadvertently broadcast to unsuspecting onlookers. The thought brought a shared blush and a mental note to be more aware of potential shoreline on lookers. Yikes! 😳”
