Preparing to be Land Locked

“The anticipation for the Amazon raft was almost unbearable. Finally, in the nick of time, the bright orange savior arrived! A flurry of activity ensued as Greg, with the focused energy of a Formula 1 pit crew, inflated the raft. Precious seconds ticked by, each pump bringing them closer to their land-based adventure.

With the raft buoyant and ready, Greg efficiently ferried Brandy and Katniss, along with the mountain of luggage, to the dock. Then, a quick return trip to the Chasing Destiny to secure the dinghy. Now came the moment the crew had been waiting for – the photo shoot. Greg, paddling his bright orange raft across the short dangerous water, became an instant spectacle. Cameras clicked, capturing the sheer absurdity and Greg’s good-natured grin. ‘That was quite a show,’ Brandy called out, laughter echoing across the water. ‘Thanks for always entertaining us, Greg!’

Utah, with its majestic mountains and sprawling landscapes, felt strangely… still. The gentle rocking of the boat was replaced by a firmness underfoot. The endless horizon of the ocean was now framed by towering peaks. ‘Oh, the horror!’ Landlocked. The word felt heavy, foreign. The adventure on land had begun, but a part of their hearts, remained tethered to the Chasing Destiny.”
