Where Will it All Go

The Chasing Destiny was officially undergoing a transformation from “boat” to “floating, Tetris-themed storage challenge.” With provisions for the Bahamas piling up, Brandy, Greg, and Katniss (mostly supervising from a comfy cushion) were in a frantic search for homes for everything. Food, personal supplies, boat bits – it was a chaotic show of shoving and rearranging. After hours of trying to jam a square peg into a round hole, Brandy had an epiphany: bins. Glorious, organizational bins!
So, the crew embarked on their next grand adventure: the “perilous” 800-foot dinghy crossing to shore. It felt less like a commute and more like an epic voyage, especially when navigating around a rogue flip-flop. Once on land, their target was clear: Walmart.
What started as a bin hunt quickly escalated. “Just a few more provisions, while we’re here,” Greg reasoned, and soon their cart was overflowing. Trust me, you don’t want to see the receipt from that trip; it was less a list and more a novel.
Back at the boat, after four more sweaty dinghy trips laden with plastic bags, the real fun began. Brandy and Greg, fueled by a mix of exhaustion and the sheer absurdity of it all, turned putting things away into a game. Bins were labeled with questionable accuracy (“Stuff,” “More Stuff,” “Things We Might Need Someday”). The Chasing Destiny might not have been perfectly organized, but it was certainly full, and the laughter echoing across the water was the best kind of boat supply.
Hahaha I love this!
